Utabiri wa AI wa State Cup

Israel's State Cup is the national knockout football competition, organized by the Israel Football Association. Open to clubs from every level of Israeli football, the State Cup uses a single-elimination format, with extra time and penalties used to decide ties. It sits alongside the Israeli Premier League as the country’s top domestic knockout contest. The tournament unfolds across the season, starting with early rounds in autumn that involve smaller clubs and inviting the top-tier teams in later rounds; the final is typically played in spring at a major stadium in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. The Cup has a rich history and is defined by famous clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa, along with countless memorable upsets and dramatic runs by underdogs. The winner usually earns a place in European competition the following season, subject to league qualification. Fans follow the State Cup for knockout adrenaline, the chance for surprising results, and the national pride of lifting a historic trophy. It remains a cornerstone of Israeli football culture and a clear path to silverware.
