MLB

Major League Baseball has 30 teams in two leagues, the American League and the National League, each split into East, Central and West divisions. The regular season runs from late March to late September, with every club playing 162 games, mostly in three- and four-game series with very few days off. Twelve teams reach the postseason โ€“ six from each league โ€“ which moves through the Wild Card Series, the Division Series and the League Championship Series to the World Series in October.

No other sport depends so much on one player in a single game as baseball does on the starting pitcher. A change in the rotation, a bullpen that was used heavily the night before, a day game after a night game or the wind at a hitter-friendly park can turn a coin-flip matchup into a clear favorite, and over 162 games upsets happen every day.

For each MLB game our AI gives a winner (moneyline) pick with a confidence percentage, a predicted final score and a short note on the matchup. The predicted score also shows the implied run differential and total runs, which you can compare with the run line and the over/under. Picks are published before first pitch and settled on our results page.
